MediPAD patient terminals combine the latest technology with an attractive design and a high level of functionality. Simple, intuitive operation and a razor-sharp image are some of the quality features. MediPAD is available in three sizes (10", 13" and 16"), has a touch screen and has been clinically tested to meet the stringent hygiene requirements of the healthcare sector. Power supply via PoE means you can avoid using power adapters in care room panels. The terminals are also free of moving parts, including hard disks and fans, for optimum reliability and longevity.
Information that eases the burden on staff
Using the patient terminals, the hospital can quickly and easily provide patient-specific information about the person’s stay, treatment and aftercare. Information and instruction videos can help the patient before surgery, for example, which gives the patient a feeling of security at the same time as easing the burden on staff.
It is also possible to show more general information, such as menus, opening hours for the pharmacy, shop and library, a hospital guide, the location of the nearest ATM, weather reports, etc.
Assign the call to the right member of staff
With the patient terminal, a patient can summon the right type of help at the touch of a button. For example, it could be an alarm/call or a service call for help going to the toilet or fetching water or food. When this type of service call is used it saves staff time, allowing them to concentrate instead on more qualified work and make the operation more efficient.

No personal details are stored on the terminal. The patient terminals do not save passwords or browsing history and files cannot be downloaded and saved to them.
Installation and maintenance
The terminals are always connected by a single (1) cable, which delivers both power and data. Configuration is done online and the terminals can be moved without having to be reconfigured manually. The terminal knows what configuration it should have in each patient location, which means that you can have different configurations for a children’s ward and an adult ward, for example.
Maintenance is performed easily on the ward by operating staff without the involvement of the IT department.
